November Beauty Player of the Month : John Leonard

Grand Rapids Griffins forward John Leonard has been named Graced By Rain’s “Beauty Player of the Month” for November 2025.
Over the course of 10 games in November, Leonard notched nine goals and seven assists for a lovely 16 points. He had three game winning goals. Two of which came back-to-back against the Iowa Wild to close out the month.
Do you like multi-point games? Yes? Guess what! Leonard does too, because he had five of them. Two of those games, Leonard tallied three points (1g, 2a).
The most beautiful thing about Leonard is the fact he always credits his teammates, especially Dominik Shine and Sheldon Dries, for helping him constantly find the back of the net.
Leonard was also named the Fortune Tires “Expect More” AHL Player of the Month for November. He joins Riley Barber (April 2022) and Chris Minard (February 2012) as the only Griffins players in franchise history to win the award.
