October Beauty Player of the Month : Amadeus Lombardi
Grand Rapids Griffins forward Amadeus Lombardi has been named Graced By Rain’s “Beauty Player of the Month” for October 2025.
In the first six games of the 2025-26 season, Lombardi tallied six assists. Three of which came in the Griffins' 3-2 win over the Texas Stars.
While he hasn’t been able to find the back of the net, Lombardi has played a pivotal role in Grand Rapids’ success by helping move plays along and digging pucks out of battles along the boards.
At the end of last season, Lombardi mentioned he wanted to take this summer to get bigger and stronger. At the start of the 2025-26 season, Lombardi looked bigger and played a more aggressive style of game than in past seasons. When asked what he did this summer to get stronger and bigger, Lombardi jokingly quipped, “I ate a lot of food.” He then followed it up with a more serious answer. “It’s a process, right? Gaining weight. You can’t just put it on. At least for me, it’s really hard,” he said. “I didn’t put as much weight on as I would like, but I just feel stronger. I feel more stable.”
Lombardi’s stability has allowed him to motor through traffic without getting knocked off his skates and has elevated his game to the next level.
