The Graced By Rain Beauty Player of the Month for October 2026 has been awarded to rookie forward Jesse Kiiskinen. Over the course of 10 games, Kiiskinen had six goals, four assists, a hat trick, and a power play goal. The smiley young forward was also seen laying heavy hits along the boards and went so far as to drop the gloves for his first career AHL fight.
Despite the language barrier, part of Kiiskinen’s success can be attributed to the great communication he has with his teammates. Off the ice, he quickly created relationships with multiple members of the team and staff, including Dylan James, Sutter Muzzatti, and Assistant Equipment Manager Kyle Hornkohl. Those strong off-ice relationships helped create smoother, easier communication during the game.
